EPTB Vienne has produced a video on the quantitative impact of water bodies in the Vienne river basin. This video uses the results of the prospective study carried out by EPTB Vienne as part of the LIFE Eau&Climat project.

There are 24,500 water bodies in the Vienne basin. This abundance has a significant impact on water resources and aquatic environments. To provide information on this subject, EPTB Vienne has produced a video on the quantitative impacts of ponds. The video outlines the environmental implications of ponds and highlights poorly understood issues such as evaporation, which is exacerbated by climate change. Appropriate solutions are also highlighted, with the aim of raising public awareness of this environmental issue.

This video is based on the results of the prospective study on climate change and its effects on water resources in the Vienne basin. This study was carried out by EPTB Vienne in 2021 and 2022 as part of the LIFE Eau&Climat project.

The video was previewed on Monday December 4, 2023 at the steering committee meeting attended by some 60 people in Limoges.
