The installation of rainwater harvesters supported by the Syndicat mixte Célé - Lot médian has been launched

Page mise à jour le 12/02/2024

Five Cantalien communes in the Célé basin are involved in a grouped rainwater collection operation led by the Syndicat mixte Célé - Lot médian (SmCLm – Célé and middle section of the Lot river basin governance body) in the framework of the LIFE Eau&Climat project.

Work is underway in Quézac and three site meetings have already been held, the last one on 22 September (photo). Rainwater harvesters of 10 m3 are installed by Quercy Entreprise on the 14 plots of the Clos des Sources housing estate. This sizing is intended for outdoor and indoor use of rainwater, which will reduce the amount of drinking water consumed in new buildings. This work is financed by Europe within the framework of the LIFE Eau&Climat project and by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
