Review of the LIFE Eau&Climat project presentations in November 2022

Page mise à jour le 12/02/2024

In November 2022, the LIFE Eau&Climat project was presented at various events: SAGE Mayenne technical meetings, Rendez-vous de l'eau Bourges plus (water Rendezvous), Creseb webinar (centre for resources and scientific expertise on water in Bretagne), Salon des maires et des collectivités locales (exhibition for mayors and local authorities).

On 8 November, Sonia Siauve, project manager - innovation at OiEau and coordinator of the LIFE Eau&Climat project, presented the project at the Mayenne SAGE technical meetings. She focused on four demonstration actions: the HMUC (hydrology, environments, uses, climate) study by the EP Loire (public territorial basin establishment), the citizen observatory of the Grand-Est Region, the installation of water level gauges by the EPAGE Loire Lignon (public establishment for water development and management of Loire-Lignon) and the hydraulic diagnostics of water bodies by the Syndicat mixte Célé-Lot median (SmCLm – Célé and middle section of the Lot river basin governance body).

On 18 November, Creseb (centre for resources and scientific expertise on water in Bretagne) dedicated one of its webinars to a discussion on the LIFE Eau&Climat project with contributions from Sonia Siauve and Jean-Philippe Vidal, hydroclimatologist at INRAE (National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment). A focus was made on the prospective studies carried out in the framework of the project and the INRAE white paper on these prospective studies on water availability.

From 22 to 24 November, the Salon des maires et des collectivités locales (exhibition for mayors and local authorities) was held in Paris. On 23 November, Jean-Michel Soubeyroux, climatologist at the Climatology and Climate Services Directorate of Météo-France, presented the DRIAS-Eau portal, developed by Météo-France for the project, which proposes new hydro-climatic projections and offers support to local water stakeholders for a good use of these data.
