Training sessions launched !

With the aim of promoting the replicability and transferability of the results of the LIFE Eau&Climat project, Aquanova/Hydreos is organizing two days of training. The first part will take place remotely on May 24, and the second part in two sessions: May 30 in Paris and June 6 in Toulouse.

Aquanova/Hydreos is offering two days of training to help you get to grips with the tools produced by the LIFE Eau&Climat project: the DRIAS-Eau portal, the white paper "Conducting a retrospective and prospective study on water resources", the vulnerability diagnosis guide, the web tool on adaptation trajectories and the guide on mobilizing stakeholders with its toolboxes.

These days are aimed at water managers, who have to handle hydroclimatic data and implement actions in their territory, in a context of climate change.


1. THEORETICAL TRAINING - Friday May 24, 9am to 4:30pm (remote)

This first day of theoretical presentation of the tools is aimed at anyone who already has some knowledge of hydroclimatic data.

  • 09:00 - 09:15 : Introduction - Sonia SIAUVE (OiEau)
  • 09:15 - 10:30 : DRIAS-eau portal - Jean-Michel SOUBEYROUX (MétéoFrance)
  • 10h45 - 12h30 : White paper - Jean-Philippe VIDAL (INRAE)
  • 13h30 - 15h00 : "Vulnerability diagnosis" and "Adaptation trajectories" tools - Youcef ABDI (Actierra)
  • 15h15 - 16h15 : Mobilizing stakeholders - Anne-Paule METTOUX - PETCHIMOUTOU (OiEau)

2. PRACTICAL TRAINING - Thursday May 30 in Paris or Thursday June 6 in Toulouse

This second day will focus on practical case studies. It is mandatory to have attended the theoretical training to attend this 2nd day.

  • Thursday May 30 in Paris - 20 places, by reservation : priority : SAGE or Water Agency coordinators.
  • Thursday June 6 in Toulouse - 20 places, byreservation : priority given to engineering consultancies.

Course of the days :

  • 9:00 - 09:30: Welcome and presentation of the day
  • 1st case study : Getting to grips with hydroclimatic data on the DRIAS-Eau portal to conduct a prospective study using the white paper methodology. Trainees should bring their own computer equipment and have spreadsheet software (freeware exercises).
  • Lunch on site (provided)
  • 2nd case study : Defining adaptation trajectories and implementing mobilization actions.
  • 16:30 - 17:00: Discussions and conclusions
