[Edit 02/15/2024 : Session at Agence de l'eau Rhin-Meuse postponed to Friday April 5]
In collaboration with the Water Agencies, information sessions are being organized in the major river basins of mainland France to present the main results of the LIFE Eau&Climat project. The series kicks off this Thursday, November 16, at Agence de l'eau Adour-Garonne in Toulouse.
The LIFE Eau&Climat project is entering its fourth and final year, with experimentation continuing and tools being finalized. Information sessions are scheduled to start in November in various watersheds. Targeting water managers, these sessions are designed to present the main results and provide feedback on the experiments carried out over the 4 years. The scientific partners Acterra, Météo-France, INRAe and OiEau will present the project's key tools: the "Vulnerability Diagnosis" and "Adaptation Trajectory" tools, the DRIAS-eau portal, the white paper on conducting a prospective study of your territory and the guide to mobilizing stakeholders. In the second part of the course, a number of territorial experiments will be carried out from one session to the next, depending on the needs identified in the watershed in question.
As well as providing information, these sessions also provide an opportunity for informal exchanges between peers on the issues of water management and climate change. How can we adapt on a smaller scale than the watershed? What are the difficulties encountered and how can they be overcome?.
These sessions are co-organized by the Agences de l'eau and HYDREOS (Grand Est's water cluster) and will take place on the following dates:
- Thursday November 16 at Agence de l'eau Adour Garonne => program,
- Tuesday, November 21 at Agence de l'eau Loire Bretagne => program,
- Thursday November 30 at Agence de l'eau Artois Picardie,
- Tuesday December 12 at Agence de l'eau Seine-Normandie,
