On 21 March 2023, the EPAGE Loire Lignon took part in a workshop and conference organised for World Water Day by a high school in Haute-Loire.

On the occasion of World Water and Tree Day, the Georges Sand agricultural high school in Yssingeaux (43) organised an event on Tuesday 21 March for students.

More than 600 students were present on this day, which was aimed to raise awareness about water, trees, nature and the environment in general.

Scientific and artistic workshops, debates, conferences, animations... were held throughout the day by more than sixty speakers.

Within the framework of the LIFE Eau&Climat project, the EPAGE Loire-Lignon carried out a participatory workshop on the theme of water resource management and the challenges for water environments.

The day ended with a conference on "Water, source of life" in which Emilie Darne, coordinator of the SAGE Lignon du Velay, gave a presentation about the river ecosystem.
