In order to promote the replicability and transferability of the results of the LIFE Eau&Climat project, training days have been organised by Aquanova/Hydreos. The first part took place remotely on 24 May 2024 and the second part was held in two sessions: on 30 May in Paris and on 6 June in Toulouse. The replay of the remote session is now available.
Following information sessions with the Water Agencies, the project's scientific partners got together to organise training courses in spring 2024. In consultation with the project's Institutional Technical Group (ITG), the partners opted to set up 3 training courses :
- a day of remote theoretical training, accessible to as many people as possible. The day took place on Friday 24 May and was attended by 115 participants.
- a day of practical face-to-face training replicated in two locations. Comprising smaller groups, the first session took place in Paris on Thursday 30 May at the OiEau offices and was attended by 18 people. The second session took place in Toulouse at the CIC of Météo France and was attended by 15 people.

These days were aimed at water managers, who have to handle hydroclimatic data and implement actions in their area, in a context of climate change. They provided an opportunity to get to grips with the various tools (the DRIAS-Eau portal, the white paper "Conducting a retrospective and prospective study on water resources", the guide to diagnosing vulnerabilities, the web tool on adaptation trajectories and the guide to mobilising stakeholders with its toolboxes) and to handle data. The case study focused on SMEAG data.
These training courses were very well received and met the needs of players for specific support on tools for adapting to climate change.
